I will use this mainly for flight sims  Cliffs of Dover, and a tank sim T34 vs Tiger.  COD hasnt shipped but has many performance issues and no DX11& no SLI support.  TvT uses DX 9c.  Been out of gaming for quite a few years so I'm not up on what will work and what won't

This is what I came up with so far, any input would be appreciated. Thanks

My pleasure keep in mind if you need sli for any games you won't be able to do it.

to change teh above build so that it can support sli if needed:

$2279 Ticket Number: 511510

the idea is that you will add a 120GB or 160GB intel 320 ssd down teh road for HDD1 and push the 1TB to HDD2 for storage:

HDD1 = fast small drive: os/apps/games

HDD2 = regular large drive: media/personal/work file storage

Ask DS specifically for this fan to be added to the top, so you endup with 4 x 200mm fans:

haf 200mm non led fan

Hi MikeB

You may want to check out this recently posted FAQ:

http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showthread.php?t=19819

It looks like they meant to have support for SLI, but something went wrong. They are intending to get it working again.

Btw. placing the order for my own machine depends somewhat on how CoD turns out after they've had some time to solve the major problems. I may indeed go with SLI if they get it working.

I ve been watching the SIMHQ forums and holding off untill the US release.  Latest word is that it's a GPU mem leak causing some probs..among other issues.  Goona go with an SLI board and pick up an additional card down the road.  I gotta buy all my other stuff LOL  Stick, pedals TrackIR  etcThanks for the replies all!!
