But my recent config builder has my rig going up over 1900

Mainly using this for Mega Gaming and some basic surfing & music files

Looking to hopefully knock off about 300 on this somehow if possible...........In my PC Gamer mag it shows that DS wwas selling i7 920s or 930s, but the options on here only show like 950s.

Would be happy to drop to a i7 920 or 930 if it could save me lotta dough and if it is possible

Yeah I have raid mirror Config, kinda always been paranoid bout HDs going bad 8P.

Extra Cd/DVD is only 29 bux more

Kinda sold on the 5870 ATO tho - PC Gamer seems to love it.

I am hoping Some how we can configure this within my budget of 1500 -1600 dollars.

Please let me know if it is possible

I have registered on the forums as Snood and posted in the Configure section.

Thanks for any help,

Snood

Well, here's $200 cheaper at least, basically just cutting the fat out of your $1900 config. If you want to get the price down then don't load up on the extras.

$1702:  http://www.digitalstormonline.com/comploadsaved.asp?id=441934

Unfortunately they no longer have 920s or 930s available.

920s and 30s have come off the market, now intel is dropping the prices on the upper ones to clear the supply and make room for the new kids

you can save another $100 going down to p55, talk about cutting the fat if you really want to get to 1600 with gaming power:

if you are ok going over 1700, you can slap in a gtx480 and go to 1740
