Topic: New Customer - Order Progress! Posted: 27 Jul 2021 at 4:04pm |
Hello all! Prior to becoming a customer for DS I have always purchased from ***********, but those days are coming to end! I am excited to share my progress with anyone who wishes to follow it. I purchased this PC on 7/25, and the shipping time is estimated between 14-21 days. If anyone has any suggestions for the build please feel free to let me know!

Welcome to Digital Storm. That's a heck of a machine that you've ordered. If there are any suggestions to make it better, I'm sure the configuration gurus will be along shortly.
I've removed the competitor name, per Digital Storm policy, as a professional courtesy. Again, welcome!! |

Woo hoo! That looks like a great machine. It's very similar to one that I ordered on 7/6/21. Now I'm at Stage 4 (assembly started.)
I'm glad to hear that your time estimate was even shorter than mine. It sounds like things are speeding up a little. Yay! |

You will get great performance from that machine. A good idea to use Windows wizard or third party software to partition your primary drive down to the size you need for Win, your apps, browser, and maintenance software. That way, you won't lose everything on the drive if you have to re-install Windows. Primary drive scans and back-ups will be expedited, and easier to maintain. Just something I think is a good idea with a drive that size.
