Ordered on 5-13 (Saturday and it was late, config #4684563 nothing extreme, but a base that I can upgrade when have the $) went into stage 1, 5-14 (on a sunday). And then no other update. So on 5-24 I emailed and simply said that i waa wondering. I got a response on 5-25 around noon c.s.t. that it was estimated to ship on 6-2. At 6:32 c.s.t. I got an email saying it was at stage 4. At 2:28pm today went into stage 7. First, I am excited to see it getting so close, but hope me wondering what was up, did not cause them to think I do not understand it takes time and not really rushing but was curious is all lol. Maybe it would have worked out this way even if I did not e-mail.

Anyways thank you Digital Storm. Now for it to get here. And then to pick a new game (just finished playing Fallen Order, so few years behind.)

Well no go. Fedex does not have a clue what time tomorrow. (Said Pending today) and apparently i have to somehow be in two places at once, because i have to sign for it so i guess nevermind wont be getting a computer. (I have to work, cant stay home all day waiting on fedex. And wife was there all day today and they didnt even knock, that was before even knew i HAVE TO sign.

Sorry to hear about the FedEx issues. The game of catching the delivery driver can be a frustrating one for purchases like these. In situations where I can't be home and/or I'm dealing with a delivery driver who comes and goes like soft breeze (or just doesn't show up at all) I tend to just have the package sent to a pickup location. With FedEx you can use their "Hold at Location" option for packages that have already been shipped and they'll hold it there for up to 7 days if I remember correctly.

Thank you. However, I can't have them hold it and cant change delivery address (financed through bread and they restrict all of that, and did not know that until today, says Direct signature and according to FedEx website that means "someone" but according to FedEx, and later DS, I called, has to be signed by me) FedEx showed a delivery window (4 hours, but better than just 8-8 or open ended like it is currently) from last Tuesday when it shipped until Saturday when they changed date to saturday, even thougb it was over 4 hours away. Then it said Pending, until they attempted delivery today and now it says delivery exception and that it will be attempted next buisness day.

Can't sit and wait for delivery all day, will it get here at 9? 2? 5? 11? I can't do anything else (have it held, or attempting delivery on Saturday, because they want to the next business day.)

Unless they happen to come during my big 30 min lunch break (yes I'm 3 miles from home). Today's attempt was at 1:16 PM.

Says out for delivery but NO timeframe at all. So probably not getting today. Update 12:30 Fedex website now says by end of day. I am staying home for a little bit hoping gets here no later than yesterday (said attempted delivery was 1:16)

It is now 5:07 and still not here, but at least I am home now to catch driver and/or them to not to sneak up on me and miss them.

fingers crossed next post will be photos of new computer.

Well I did get my computer today and I am absolutely impressed with everything about it. I am happy with it. Way bigger than what I thought (my desk is too small lol.) Looks bare on the inside but 5 stars Digital Storm.

Okay, update computer is great. I went with God of War (fan from PS3 days lol) and have had no problems with framerates etc. I am impressed Digital Storm.

Only issue I've seen, not sure what it means, Windows Security (have Window 11) says that core isolation is off. Why is this? Anyone know?

Presumptively DS disabled it to improve gaming performance. The amount of performance gained by doing so is quite variable based on your specific hardware and drivers. Some people see FPS differences in the range of 25%, others like myself barely see any difference. Microsoft themselves recommends turning it off to optimize gaming in Windows 11, that said, I recommend you read about what it does - because it's a very useful security feature - and decide what is best for your purposes.

Well I have had my computer for little bit now and have to say, impressed more and more with it. Played God Of War (2018) and know that probably not super graphics intensive, but I played with highest graphics settings that I could and even with my video card (3050) I was still having frame rates between, (maybe little lower or little highter) 80-105 frames per second. (not HD or 4k video though). I am very happy with my new computer.

Further update finally got the game that inspired me to get a good gaming PC in the first place, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Other than EA app restarting download after I downloaded it (99% when going to bed, woke next morning to it being restarted for some reason (no error messages). Anyways, recently got a new monitor (1080P) cheap 24" with DP and have to say, the game looks spectacular. Game settings are at mid-range and ray tracing is on. Looks pretty cool. No stutters and runs pretty well, I think. Wish would have opted for more video card for bragging rights but think my RTX 3050 is plenty for now.

Can confirm. Even a heavy handed neophyte like me has found that DS machines are very user friendly when it comes time to upgrade, update and replace.

Yes I got my first digital storm computer many years ago and upgraded the graphics card eventually. Then after several years I basically ordered new parts to replace everything and just kept the case. Now five or six years after that I have ordered an entirely new DS system. I mean heck I'm still running a 970 graphics card and don't even have an SSD. I'm just happy my computer still boots up after all these years. Obviously this computer was going to be a total non-starter for something like Starfield.
