No major problems here. Good job. If you are ordering Win 11, you do not have to pay for the motherboard TPM activation. That's to prep the board for a future upgrade to Win 11 for those who order Win 10 here.
It would appear you have some other storage you will migrate into this build. If that's the case, you should consider a 980 PRO for primary drive. The 500GB costs less, and the 1TB is not that much more for an SSD that is almost twice as fast. Your GPU choice is curious for "AAA Gaming and Video/image editing". It's quite weak for both purposes. Since it's well within the budget, I'd recommend the 3060 Ti. you won't have to overclock it and fight heat to get amazing performance at 1080p, and very strong performance at 1440p monitor resolutions. Have a look at this: https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-RTX-3060-Ti-vs-Nvidia-GTX-1660/4090vs4038 You will not regret having this card for a very long time. If your strategy is to go cheap and wait for the next round of GPUs, I can't argue with that. Have a look at this stronger build under your budget: https://www.digitalstorm.com/configurator.asp?id=4236464 Do not overclock this GPU. If you can save money on storage, please do. I do highly recommend the lean and mean 500GB 980 PRO for your primary drive. It will benefit everything you do from your operating system and productivity apps. IMHO it makes little sense to overclock your CPU and leave out the 2x speed SSD. Hope it helps. |
