Specs:
Dreadnought Level 2 with a GTX Titan. Pros: Fired right up! Fast. Very fast. But that's relative, here are some numbers for your reference. (Old Benchmark) New Benchmark Geekbench (3550) 13750 SuperPi (ALMOST twice as fast). 1m (15.69) 8.4 2m (38.87) 20.8 Furmark (1230) 4366 As part of the pros, the case is big. You can tell it's a high quality case and a high quality build. The Noctua cooler inside is also massive. I had no idea it was going to be that huge. The whole build has a very commanding presence in a moderately sized room. For those wondering, the cable management is what I would expect from DS. I'll have to download a few games and give my impressions about those in a few days or so. I also forgot to time how long my old computer took to boot up. I'm guessing it was pretty bad in comparison just because the 250GB hdd was very very full. Cons: Nothing is perfect and I have four small complaints. 1. No antivirus 2. 110 Windows Updates (Yowza!) 3. The fan's LED button is right next to the reset button. Fool me twice, shame on me (LOL). 4. FedEx driver did not obey the "this side up" rule. The box it came in looked pretty beat up, almost like it was opened and then closed again. The DS packing tape just fell off. This was just kind of odd, but it's tough enough to ship a 70lb package across the country. These aren't big things though, I'll try to keep active on the boards and update accordingly. Day One: Very happy with my purchase. |

DS can't update all the windows update since they have a lot of orders and it would take them forever to do. As for an antivirus i use microsoft security essentials.
But congrats on getting your system. Can't wait to see pics Edited by ArkansasWoman777 - 30 Apr 2013 at 12:26pm |

Playing Bioshock Infinite on beautiful settings. It looks amazing.
I also had to download Crysis3 just to see and it looks real. So far this computer handles everything thrown at it. Functionality combined with this form is exactly what I wanted. Thanks to all on the boards for their assistance! |
