Topic: New DS comp game problems Posted: 02 Dec 2008 at 10:25pm |
Well I just got my new comp today and I am having problems. First game I installed which I was dieing to play was counterstrike 1.6. For a quick test. Problem is before I had windows xp and it was easy to just use nvtray to force refreshrates for each resolution. I could put my 1076 x 768 @ 144 hz on my CRT moniter.
Its a samsung 1100df. Now it seems to only go to 100 hz but when I play the game, I see mest up laggy waves on the screen. Its not all smooth like before. Not sure if its Vista or my video card. I am running SLI 3 way. I can get my desktop to be 100 refresh ok its seems.. but my games are not working good.. Any help is would be greatful. You can't force refresh rate in Vista like you did in XP. You need software to do it or edit your drivers.
