My new SD computer arrive but there are some problems. I would appreciate any troubleshooting advise.
I have a MSI Intel X58 MB, Intel I7 920 2.66 Ghz Proc, 6gb ram, 750w ps, Gforce GTX 285, Haf 932 chassis, H2O 1 cooler, Samsung 2343bwx LCD
The LCD is not receiving a signal. I tested the LCD on my other DS and it works fine. I've checked the cable connections several times.
The RAM sticks are in tight and locked, the Vid card is in tight and the power connectors are in tight.
When I power up the computer the MB LED lights come on but there are no beeps or clicks as show that it is booting up.
There is power to the fans, cooling system, the disk drive goes out and in, the fan in the vidio card is running.
When I put various types of CDs in the drive there is no/no sound as if it is trying to read the CD.
I have checked all the power cables on the MB.
Also the reset button does nothing. On the MB there is also a reset button, it does not work either.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. The computer just arrived and may have been damaged in shipping.
Thanks

I am very sorry to hear about the issue.
I am 100% confident that it something that we can help you resolve over the phone. Your unit has been tested twice to ensure 100% consistency. Each time we test the system, the unit moves from a different department to the next. This involves us powering down the system, and moving it and plugging it back in. We would have caught this issue in our facility.
Anyways, please contact us via phone: 1-866-817-8676 as soon as possible.
Or, If you can provide your order number, I can send a notice to our senior staff to also get a hold of you as soon as possible.
It may be a dislodged component, loose wire from shipping, or an accessory you are plugging that may be the culprit. Edited by Alex - 03 Jul 2009 at 3:07pm |
