Thanks in advance for any advice or words of assurance. I am pretty far along in this build (Stage 5) so probably too late to change much. Just wanted some opinions.

1. Budget is medium - I am placed at $2.2K right now and I am okay with that.

2. Expectations - great fps for smooth video (no lag) for 10 man WOW raiding. Had an Alienware Area 51 laptop that had failed video cards (3X replaced). Sent back for repairs to be a true mobile computer. This build will replace it for my main use. Using a work HP to game right now until my DS box or my Alienware get to me. Not a satisfactory experience. Hope the new DS Raven will "blow the doors" off of the Alienware. Nothing special in setup. Just pushing a 24 inch Samsung monitor.

3. Right now just playing WOW, email, word processing stuff, etc.. some music and video.

4. No special needs.

You don't need to spend 2.2K just for playing WOW.

$599 laptop on newegg is way enough for WOW.

You'll be able to play WoW on max settings, easily.  As stated, it's overkill but will last you quite a while.

An air cooler would have worked better and the upgraded fans are not necessary.

Just for wow, means you won't be taking advantage of sli, which means no need for deluxe mobo, no reason whatsoever for 2000MHz ram, 1600MHz would have been the same, 750w hx psu, 1TB black caviar, a70 cooler, no fan upgrade, stage 2 oc.

but your build is nice too
