Welcome back Apollo Gunner GzR....!
First item....DS has had their resupply shipment of the black DS Velox cases held up for weeks now by US Customs. Check with them to see if the shipment has arrived yet...lots of backed up Velox orders have been waiting for that case.. Excellent Asus Z390 Strix mobo, Corsair Vengeance RAM, Samsung Evo Plus M.2 NVME SSD Drive1, Corsair 280mm Cooler, Corsair LL fans, and my fav Corsair AX1200i PSU. All Very solid component choices! CPU....Brand spanking new version Intel I9-9900KS. So new, that we haven’t had much feedback on the forum for that one yet. You have enough Stage 2 cooling, so why don’t you at least make use of the Free DS Stage 1 Overclock? All Intel K and X class processors are engineered byIntel to be fully Overclocked...so you are actually paying for CPU performance you will not get unless you do OC. Stage 2 OC is just $99 and would give you the max possible CPU performance 24/7. GPU....6 screens huh.... I believe all current RTX 2000 series NVidia max on multi monitor is 4, even when using SLI / NVLink. The RTX 2070 Super 8 GB VRAM GPU is considered the do everything well mid range GPU at 1080P, and 2X SLI / NSync should do pretty well for you playing those games at 1440P/2K. Even NSync, 4K Monitor resolution would be best driven using the RTX 2080 Super or RTX 2080 Ti. Vid quality will depend on the panel resolutions, sizes and refresh rates of the monitors you use. If you absolutely gotta use 6 panels, then you may have to ask DS what GPU solutions they may suggest. You might be stuck using AMD. Future proof? This rigs excellent quality components would keep you gaming a long ways down the road again...lol...but your graphics will as always fall behind eventually... and NVidia will always have stronger performing GPUs to offer in about 2 yrs time. Better future proofing GPU setup now might be one RTX 2080 Ti 11 GB VRAM ..as NVidia has said that’s the top consumer card for another year ahead. Hope you find the info useful.... |

OK be sure you advise DS of that if you haven’t already...you’ll still get the SLI/NSync bridge, but they can test them both running independent for you rather than in SLI.
