whats your native resolution?  If you dont have a monitor yet, what resolution you planning for?

LC is luxury ands not a necessity, for 1900 x 1080 and games like bf3 you gonna need sli 570, sli 570 cost over your budget without any lc.

Also real lc performance starts at stage 4 cooling, before that a70 and noctua are king.

so in short no lc is needed or is in the budget, but we still have to figure out the sli situation, for a good custom sli build with best performance reliability and no ssd will run you around $2600, next option down, does not have the same ability and reliability of custom config but ode 3 has better price and sli 570.

how would you like to proceed.
