Ok what i have below is way far beyond the price i want. My budget is $3000 or a bit over, but not too much (above $300 is too much). I want a gaming PC not just for now, but for the future for a couple years maybe. I want this mainly to run Battlefield 3 in the best graphics possible with a very solid framerate. This right here is somewhere over $5000 dollars. I also might want to run Crysis 2 in the best possible graphics, but mainly battlefield 3 and other games. So if some of you could help me get the price lowered i would be very, very, very happy. Here we go...I really want to run BF3 best graphics possible with budget.

o yes also i realized there isn't a spot for a 2nd Video Card. I was wondering how much someone would need that to say run Crysis 2 on at least high, but i still wanna run everything as far as they go with this. so how do upgrades work? can i select them off of this site? or what?

The most graphically intense game to date right now according to benchmarkers is Metro 2033...with the 570 build I have seen many reviews of the 570 running it with just one card at around 35 FPS.....Very playable at those lvl's

For sli this on is right on your budget max ($3305). If you need to back it down you can save about $170 by going with 4GB of Ram which is super easy to upgrade in the future, or just go with a single 1TB Caviar HDD which would save like $500.

Benny worring about power usage and wanting sli, directly conflict eachother.

ITs a bad idea to judge power by crysis or metro, they don't represent the power usage of 95% of the games out here, to play metro smooth at 1900 x 1200 with possibly some aa, you would need tri sli/cf, thats super overkill for 95% of the games out there, at that res, with 4x aa or higher.

the configs I gave you, can do sli 570 if needed, all you do is add another to it.

But for future proof, its best to get what you need now, and save the rest of the money so that you can get a future gpu and upgrade to that, for example somebody that got single 275 couple of years ago and then upgraded to a 570 now is able to play current games in DX ll and higher settings, the sli 275.

however if you are stuck on sli 570, take my config 486609 and just change the gpu from 1 x 570 to 2 x 570, 1200w psu is overkill for sli 570, the power draw for a my config with sli 570 would be around 600 - 700w ballpark.

I'm a bit confused as to which config you are refering to, lets just simplify:

1. do you want sli?

a. if yes, then you want a single gpu that you can add another gpu to, or you want the sli now?

b. if no, that fine too.

2. do you want cpu air cooled, LC, or tec? ( right now from what I can see tec config is only for i7 9xx and not SB, you can always call DS and ask for it if you want SB, also keep in mind on top of the power pc uses the tec uses 800w constant to its own.)

3. do you want gpu air cooled or LC? (no tec on gpu)

4. the budget is $5000 but we want to get the most power for least $$$, correct? if yes then I advise staying away from LC cooling.

5. what res you gonna be gaming at?

just answer those and I will whip up a config for you.

ok sorry for the confusion. i feel that we at are more confusion than needed. ok I'm not going to post here any more to create less confusion. Please go to Gaming Computer with a Budget (Changed) and I'm trying to get the best for a $3000 budget, but i prefer under $2500.
