I want to purchase a new computer for gaming and general home computer.  I play mostly FPS (COD/MW3) with a 23" and a 19" monitor.  I want to upgrade to a 27' monitor and will keep the 23".  I have an extensive music collection and would also like to do some picture/video editing.  I do live in a dusty environment and I don't really care about noise within reason.  My budget is about 2,500 but if I can get the new monitor to that would be great.

I am looking at the Ode level 3...is this too much?

Thanks in advance,

Bandman

I personally would choose a customized version instead. Better warranty, money off with holiday sale (ODE's don't get this benefit), free t-shirt, etc..

DST4ME can help you out the best.

I tried to custom build one similar but the price was more.  Am I missing something?

Custom config comes out to be more cause the parts are better, and because ode has a special price we can't beat in custom config.

custom config I would be below build remember to take off another $125 off the price below for current promo:

Ask DS specifically for this fan to be added to the top, so you endup with 4 x 200mm fans:

haf 200mm non led fan

Ask for vcore lower then 1.4 for your oc.

this config has bigger/better case with better airflow, mobo, psu, IMHO ssd, cpu cooler, hdd, also it can do future gpu upgrades that the 800w can't do.

Now if your 27" will have a higher res then 1900 x 1200 you gonna want to change the sli to sli 570 2.5GB.

DST4ME,

Thanks for taking the time to reply.  This build is out of my price range but if I take out the second GPU, I can do it and drop in a second GPU when I get more cash and am ready to upgrade to 27" & 23" monitors.  Will this still give me the game play I am looking for in FPS like MW?

Let me ask you this, if we take out the 1TB BC hdd, price comes down to $2,699, minus $125 for current promo = $2574 you can add teh hdd later, if not then yes you can take out the second gpu and add that later.

I believe for mw with one 570 you should be fine but honestly I'm not sure I have not seen any benches in dx11, does it support dx11?
