Any advice to either making the build more economically efficient or maximize performance within budget, will be greatly appreciated.

Extra : I am considering getting BenQ RL2450HT ($200) as a monitor [although I do not play RTS, more FPS]. I was wondering if anyone has had experience with this BenQ model, or if the BenQ XL2420T ($370) is worth being almost double the price of the RL2450HT.

Hi Rencass..... Welcome to to the forums.    That build looks good.

I have never resaerched that case but the cooling seems decent.

The Sabertooth mobo does allow sli, 2x video card and carries a 5 year warranty and is just a better quality board.   The LX mobo is all you need if you stay with single video card and stage 1 oc but carries less warranty.

I would consider changing the Vortex 120 cooler for the Hyper212 with stage 1 oc for more reliability.   The Vortex 120 does have a decent record but the air cooled Hyper 212 leaves little to go wrong.

If you go stage 2 oc then thr Noctua D14, if it fits that case or the Vortex 240 mm rad cooler would be the way to go.

Good luck and keep us posted.

Thanks for the reply, bprat22.

I think I would prefer fans. I have never had a PC with liquid cooling and I'm not too sure how to deal with problems. How would I be able to tell if the Noctua D14 fits inside a certain chassis?

Chassis I chose :
1. Front:12cm Fan x 1
2. Rear: 12cm Fan x 1
3. Top:12cm Fan x 1 (Maximum Supports 12cm Fan x 2)
4. Side:22cm LED Fan with switch x 1 (Maximum Supports 12cm Fan x 6)
5. Water-Cooling Hole Ready

and the Noctua
140 x 140 x 25 mm
120 x 120 x 25 mm
Heatsink Dimensions
158 x 126 x 120 mm(with fan)

Would the Corsair Carbide 500R be able to hold the fan?
Cooling(x6) 120mm/140mm fan mounts, (x4) 120mm fan mounts, Includes (x1) 200mm side panel fan, (x2) front-mounted 120mm fans, and (x1) rear 120mm fan
OR
CoolMaster Elite 430
Top: 120 mm fan x 2 (optional)
Front: 120 mm blue LED fan x 1, 140 mm fan x 1 (optional)
Rear: 80/90/120 mm fan x 1 (optional)
Side: 120mm fan x 1 (optional)
Bottom: 80/90/120 mm fan x 1 (optional)

Thanks for any suggestions!

The D14 will fit in HafX, 600t, pretty sure the 500r and also think in the Ironclad.       DS would know for sure since they have to build it. Email them or call just to make sure.

I also like the air coolers.    I do dependability whenever possible.

If you call DS about case compatability let us know if you can.   Sometimes the mobo, side panel latch, fan etc make the difference.

The Vortex coolers are not true water cooling as some would picture.    They are sealed units with no maintenance like adding fluid, etc.     True water cooling is more $$ because of better water block to cpu, seperate reservoir and stronger pump.    Leaking with a Vortex must be a very small concern.
