Budget:
$2500-3000 for just the PC. Expectations: I want something that can run games well and will continue to for a while with basic upgrades. Usage: Gaming ArcMap Photo Editing Game Development Special Needs: I'd prefer something quite and fairly simple looking. I have 3 SSDs and two regular hard drives already so I don't need to buy much more. I use three monitors, though just one when gaming, and I'm planning on upgrading my main to a curved ultrawide. The main question the configuration gurus are going to ask... At what resolution will you be gaming / photo editing? This will determine the base for building a new machine that will meet your wants and needs.
Best of luck, and stay tuned for the configurators. They'll be along shortly. |

I haven't gotten it yet but I think the main one will be 3440 x 1440. The others are 1080.

Hi Darasuum.... Here's a very good build to match your budget and applications.
I opted for the Ryzen 1700k cpu over the Intel 7700k for its added cores. Some editing apps favor added cores over faster clock speeds. If your apps prefer faster clock speed then you'll want the 7700k. I put on the 1080 Ti graphics card to give more consistent 60+ fps in gaming. The 1080 will work great but the Ti is faster. I left in the default drives. You can pick what you like, considering the drives you already have. The Slade 600Q case is a clean, relatively quiet case per your likes. Change SSD for 480gb 240 is going to feel really small fast if you put a lot of applications on it.
