The best way for The Smart Guys® to help you design a system is to make sure you tell them what monitor resolution you'll be using. It would be a waste of time/effort/money to put together a kicking 1080 system if you're going to gaming in 4k, and vice versa.
So, a bit more info and the configuration gurus will be along to share their incredible wealth of knowledge. |

, but a gaming system has to be built around the GPU, which is determined as Snaike says by the monitor you need to drive.
If it helps, IMO, 4K is not worth all the money it takes to power at a typical monitor size of say, 25-32". At that size, a 1440p monitor will look every bit as good gaming, and cost much less for better performance.
