Hello all! i am looking to purchase a new computer and would greatly appreciate any help.

Budget: is 2500 dollars
i already have a mouse, keyboard, and monitor so this is all for the computer.

Expectations: i would like to be able to play games at max settings.

Usage: i will be using this computer mostly for games but also 3d modeling using maya as well as zbrush. I play all types of games, mmo's, fps , rpg's etc. i will be playing games at 1920x 1080.

Thank you again for any help!

I think ode 3 would be great for you, but wait for DST4ME to reply, then go with what he says.

How much ram do you need for your 3d modeling? is 8GB enough? from what I understand sometimes its not.

For that res checkout ode 3.

otherwise a custom config with better psu/mobo/cpu cooler will cost around $2800.

Ticket Number: 591491

if you think in the future you will need to add more ram then go with win7 pro 64bit, home has a limit that will cause you problems if you go and upgrade ram.

keep in mind ode 3 will give you the same game performance but the custom config has bigger psu allowing for all kinds of future upgrades and that psu has a 7 year warranty.

the ode 3's psu has a 5 year warranty from DS but its gpu upgrade ability are limited, for best game results we recommend upgrading gpus once every 2 to 3 years, that way in games the pc will feel like its brand new.

but if you don't plan on upgrading gpus at all, the ode 3 is the way to go IMHO.
