Budget: $1550
Expectations: World of warcraft at pretty high settings. / College homework.
Usage: daily use for high end wow graphics settings / computer science homework.
Game resolution: 1920x1200 usually.

This is a build I made a wish list for on newegg.com. I am looking for a PC that can play WOW at some decently high end graphics. I play counter-strike too. I will use this computer daily for school as well, but school homework is just programming, and typing in word.

What im looking for is some input on changes that could be made to this build that would suit me better, for around the same price range. I would love to have a Digital storm PC that can compare to this PC, is that available?
Thanks for taking time to help.

Also looking at the ASUS Sabertooth X58 LGA 1366 Intel X58 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard instead, which only costs
189.99 Makeing the total cost go down to $1419. Cost is an important factor too. I do not do any over clocking either. Please help me out with which mobo i should get! =)

it will be about $100 more but with a 3 or 4 year warranty.

keep in mind it will be built for you and you don't have to deal with all that headache.

now your ram I went with DS certified, cause for ram it does not matter, your mobo I would go with evga cause they have much better support, asus is not what they used to be.

thermal paste but no cpu cooler?
hafx is not a budget case

as far as building on your own, of course it will be cheaper, but unless you really know what you are doing, AND you are lucky to a degree... i woudlnt suggest it

and not overclocking is just senseless, hardware these days pretty much expects you to do it, useing a 950 without OC means my 4 year old q66000 will perform better, you will give up a ton of power by not overclocking

If your interested in building your own, here is a link to a helpful website. I used to build my own but finally got tired of it.

The people on the website do recommend DS if you decide not to build your own.
