I bought a new graphics card and it should be coming today or tomorrow, I was wondering is there anything important I need to do?

Unplug your machine, and ground yourself to some metal on your chassis before you put a hand inside. Installing a GPU is pretty much, remove, reseat the new one, fasten it down in back, and put power to it. The vaunted Guru DST4ME has a still useful guide here in "View Our Support Guides". Also you may go to YouTube for a look-see.
