 Topic: New here...bought my first DS rig

Hey what's up all I am new here and I want to introduce myself. My name is Larry and I bought my first DS rig actually it is my first gaming laptop.

and that is a very nice laptop BTW, lol is that a metallic finish? look great what ever it is.

Ohhh that's nice. Heck, that rig has far more horsepower than what this HP has, and I bet yours didn't come with about 400MB of Crapware autoinstalled either. Color me jealous. That's a gorgeous machine.
I also want to know how hot it gets, too. The laptop I am using ATM gets hot enough to boil water... I have to use a cookie sheet and a cardboard box between me and the laptop bottom it burns so much.

I got a x9000 in my laptop and its always hot around 78 to 85
but then again I got FAH on CPU, FAH on GPU, and its ridding them hard

no but really, I promises all my regular members on my forum that if I ever win the lottery, everybody gets a very high-end system, that can go for all of our regular members here, and staff too
load of money is no fun if you don't have friends to share with

i got my new ds rig too today... i have a question... did anyone else put the wheels on their rigs?
and in the accessorie kit... what am i suppose to do with all that? do i have to hook them in order to start the comp?

damn, somehting wrong with my vid card... i plugged my old monitor (CRT)... and i dont get any picture.... when i unplug it... the monitor tells me theres no vid signal.
when it is plugged in.. the monitor just goes on stand by... someone please help... i tried both plug ins
everything else looks real nice... i did get a broken chip leg stand.. but i dont think is a biggie... sucks tho
frustrating....
