hi i am about ready to order my new DS rig and now find out about
the new Intel Core I 7 release next week . Is DS going to have this cpu
soon? and if so will it affect quad core prices (Q9550, Q9540) ??the core
I7 has 3 different models and will they carry the new mobo's for it X58?
thanks again....might be driving my self crazy last month or so investigating
all facts for my new DS rig...lol..but did that last time and my DS rig still
rocks now...and with this economy i need to get the best for my money
thats why i won't buy from anyone else..could get a Cheaper pc from other
companies but DS quality is unsurpassed! by my past experiences
have had many pc's since the early 90's and DS by far is the BEST!

I assume: They will have CPUs/mobos ready on the release date w/ triple channel ram.
In, fact, they most likely ALREADY have them in stock, and did for a while now. And as far price cuts go, i dont know for sure, but X edition of nehalem will go for close to 999$.

That 999 is actually pretty cheap for a extreme style chip considering most the old Core 2s were released around 1500 or more. Whats intresting is you can buy triple channel ram already...though i assume it only works on the new style mobos...that arnt out yet. |
