Hey!

I just received my new samsung LCD model 2253LW and it's awesome, but theres on thing.

When i go to open screen shots and pictures using default windows vista's photo gallery viewer, theres a weird yellow puke-colored tint to the picture. Can i fix this through photoshop?

If i did not explain it correctly, the photo has a tint to it unlike when you would open it in photoshop, and the bordering "white" of the picture which should be a pure white, have the tint also.

I tried resetting all default to my card and monitor and it did not fix the issue. Help! Ouch

Awesome. I understand how to fix it but i cannot seem to locate this file "sRGB IEC61966-2.1" on adobes website. Still looking.

EDIT: I found something here http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/iccprofiles/icc_eula_unix_dist.html that seems to contain it but when i hit accept it looks like the url says something about notfound.

Photoshop is installed. I dont know why i am still confused. The file i download does not contain sRGB IEC61966-2.1, and what do you mean by install these. You mean add them to the monitors icc profiles? I am good when it comes to games but bad when it comes to this stuff...

sorry!

I got something...

In photoshop (my version at least) go to Edit > Color Settings and you can change the color profiles for working spaces there. I selected Adobe 1998 were some pictures work, and the ICC one for the others.

Hope it helps

I did some tweaks to my fsx config to make the could look a lot better. Using GEX, ASX. Don't use traffic, causes lag.

Frames locked at 27, I get 27 90% of the time.

If you want some good tweaks and tips let me know.

The aircraft is the Captain Sim Xload F/A-18D with the custom Marine repaint from simviation.
