I am going to get a new monitor for my new comp and wanted some advice on which one to get.  Don't want to spend too much, around $200.  looking for decent quality with high resolution.

These are the two I have been debating didn't know if I should go with ASUS or Acer.  Feel free to show me other/better deals.

Acer

Note: What I post is based on my knowledge and my opinion. Take it for what it is, if you don't like my opinion, I am ok with that.

I forgot to add that yes I know the ASUS has a 2ms response time while the Acer has a 5ms but I don't think I will be able to tell the difference so it don't matter that much to me.  The Acer one does come with a HDMI cable though.

This might help you realize I don't care too much about specs and what not, just really wondering which company is more reliable/has better quality and want to know peoples experience if had any with either company.

Yes I have, it did not really give me too much info for what I am looking for.

I challenge anyone to see the difference between a 2ms monitor and a 16ms monitor. Your video card only refreshes at 16ms, so anything faster than that won't be seen.

That's my theory at least.
