Ok, so i've been doing some shopping around, and i am bad with computers.

I need some help building a new one that is decent and or good for current and a few years down the line.

Other computer:
Operating System Genuine Windows® 7 Home Premium, 64bit, English

Processor Intel® Core™ i7 920 2.66GHz (8MB Cache) Quad Core Processor

Memory 6GB Triple Channel 1067MHz DDR3
Video Cards Single 1.8GB NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 260 192 Core
Hard Drive 500GB - SATA-II, 3Gb/s, 7,200RPM, 16MB Cache HDD
Optical Drive Single Drive: 24X CD/DVD burner (DVD+/-RW) w/double layer write capability
Total $1,537.61

I didn't wanna list most of this other stuff since it's random crap, and did not want to make the thread any bigger than it already is.

So the Diff is just $50.00, i will be using my left over keyboard / mouse etc.
Monitor is a 19'' LCD, i currently play WoW (Display settings: 1280x1024 32bit at 75Hz) Dual monitors, and thinking of playing aion, both at max settings.

That's all i do with my PC, game(s) and Internet use. I usually have winamp / firefox / xfire / vent / and or some kind of show / anime playing on my other monitor.

So i want something that will handle me playing one of those games at max settings, with no FPS lag while in large cities / dungeons and all those other programs running.

My budget... $1.5 to 1.7k, thanks for the help / advice.

your 19" should have a resolution of 1600 x 1200 which you can take advantage of with a 275 gtx.

My pleasure

if you wanted to yes but on this platform you are better off going from 4GB to 8GB, the x58 platform moves in 3GB so that is why its either 3 or 6.

you don't need more then 4GB IMO, use the pc if you see you need then upgrade but I doubt you will need it.

good luck when you are ready call Sarah at 1-866-817-8676 Extension: 115 and she will set you up
