This will be mainly for gaming. Monitor is ASUS ROG SWIFT PG279Q 27" 2560x1440 IPS 165Hz 4ms G-SYNC. My fault, I should've stated that. I probably should've asked first before buying but I was a little too excited at that moment.

You don't need the hero, but no harm, matter of preference
16gb is more than enough for Atleast next 4 years here money is wasted. 1000w is not needed 750 is best choice Hdd3 is not great, if you need an hdd get 2d red pro. Asus has worst customer service, why get the gpu from them? You couldn't pay me to use their gpu, instead go with evga, great products and amazing well known great customer service. IMHO instead wasting money on things mentioned, that money would be better in your pocket or toward longer than 1 year warranty. Rest looks good just remember for most accurate Temps we use freeware Edited by DST4ME - 18 Dec 2017 at 1:53pm |

Thanks for the feedback! I'm pretty sure I did waste some money but what's done is done. I went with the 1000w because of the deal DS had going on and in case I'd go SLI in the future. The HDD is really just for music/video files, etc. Also, I've always had EVGA but opted for ASUS this time around. Hopefully, I don't have to deal with their customer service any time soon. I appreciate you giving me the time of day. If I decide to purchase from DS again in the future, I'll make sure to ask about another configuration before jumping the gun! Happy gaming!

Well depending on what stage your order is yiu can still make changes.
The 1000w makes sense since it is on sale but for 1440p sli is pointless. I know hdd is for storage but you want a good reliable drive or one that goes bad and loses all the files you have on it? If you want a good one go with wd red pro or hdds like it. Hope those help it is an honor to help Edited by DST4ME - 18 Dec 2017 at 2:21pm |

Hi breakvision,
Welcome to DS and congratulations on your order. I don't think you will have any doubts as to where place your next order after you experience DS' product, service and family here at the forum. That is one strong system ...and very nice monitor. Have the same and love it. Hope you get it soon. Enjoy. BTW we like pictures, if you don't mind. |
