So I am an avid gamer and I am looking to buy my first desktop PC for gaming and other stuff. I know some computer mumbo jumbo but I am not that great. So I designed a PC and I was wondering where I could possibly cut corners to make the price go down and where something I added isn't needed or may be useless. Any comments or suggestions are welcomed.

Motherboard: EVGA X58 3X SLI (Intel X58 Chipset) (Supports Triple SLI or CrossFire) System Memory: 6GB DDR3 1600MHz Digital Storm Certified by mushkin enhanced (Highly Recommended) (Hand Tested) Power Supply: 1000W Corsair HX1000 Hard Drive Set 1: Operating System: 1x WD 150GB VelociRaptor ^ I would recommend the VelociRaptor, but it is not necessary at all. Set 1 Raid Options: - No Thanks Hard Drive Set 2: Multimedia\Data: - 1x (1TB Western Digital (7200 RPM) (32MB Cache) (SATA) (Extreme Speed) Video Card: 1x ATI Radeon 5870 Extreme Cooling: H20: Stage 3: High-Performance Liquid Chilled FrostBite System For CPU Should bring the cost way down to a level that is much more worth the performance you will receive from it.
