New PC Updates

I purchased a new computer last week from DSO (presently in Stage 5).  The machine will be used mostly for gaming, web browsing, and word processing.  I just have a couple questions:

1 - When it arrives, do I need to update all drivers and such, or is that completed by DSO?

2 - Will the PC come with any word processing (Office, Open Office, etc.)?

3 - How much terrible bloat-ware / trial-ware will be on it?  I hate that stuff!
