New PC with a X79 at its heart?

hola from Texas.
 
 
Im looking for a DS pc with a X79 mobo sometime soon i hope.
 
Budget would be between $2000-$3000
 
I do alot of video converting, and play alot of FPS game like
 
Battlefield 3.
 
I have a evga 580 GTX SSC, and 2 Corsair Force GT SSDs to add to it.
 
If we could keep it cold, weigh less then my current build would be
 
nice.
 
well hope those new X79 mobos come out soon.

You would not have much to gain from x79 unless you want to get the 6 core which is not needed for gaming, or have need for tri sli, otherwise the p67 might be a better choice.

What is the native resolution of the monitor you gonna be gaming at?

2560 x 1600 is my resOlution i game at.
I would like to get the Core I7 3960x unlocked,
And might add 3 videocard water cooled sli but
Will try 2 first lol.

Ok for that res and the cpu you want x79 is what you want, but budget might have to be higher to get all of that.

Well lets wait and see what the prices are, I know for the 3960x your price is gonna be about $1000 more then the 2600k.
