I was thinking about upping my power supply sometime in the future to add in a 3rd GTX260. I have the 750W Corsair right now.  CPU's OC'd, and I used EVGA Precision to OC the cards a little bit (if that matters?).

I found this: Corsair PSU Finder, and it recommended a 1000W PSU.

I've been having trouble finding the information I need through google, so I figured I'd ask you guys while I continue my search!

As always, you guys rock Evil%20Smile

Ive heard that tri sli can be very lack luster for anything but benchmarking.

But then again thats what i heard, so don't quote me on that.. Broken%20Heart

On the other hand, I did go with a 1000w psu just because i plan on upgrading to nvidias 295x2 if its worth a sh*t

saying tri-sli is lackluster and than saying you are upgrading to quad-sli makes very little sense.
The only thing that keeps me wishing on a wishing star.

Currently, I'm using a 750W PSU as I said.

i7 940 OC'd to 3.65GHz
2x GTX 260
6GB RAM
CoolerMaster V8 CPU Cooler
Craploads of fans
2x 320GB HDD in Raid 0
1 500GB HDD
1x DVD Drive
1x Card Reader

With all that said, I'm planning on getting a 3rd GTX260 sometime, another DVD drive (or maybe BluRay), and some more RAM someday. I can't think of anything else I could even fit inside this computer. With that said, do I need a 1,000W PSU? Or would I be safe getting the new 850W Corsair?

Yeah, I've had the computer with me for about a 1.5 weeks now, and I really wish I'd upped the PSU at the time of purchase.  When I look at all the power cords hidden behind the side panel and at the bottom of the HAF 932 drive bays, I feel overwhelmed, so I may have to send it back to DS whenever I decide to go 3xSLI.

I noticed the XFX GTX260s are still listed as $395.88 on the Upgrade Page.

I found the same card on newegg $259.99, but I assume if I ordered it from DS, and let them install it along with a bigger PSU, those parts would be covered in the warranty.
