That looks like a great config, do be advised 2080ti cards are having issues with severe artifacting and ghosting. So even though they are the best available be ready for some possible headaches if they arise, it is not guaranteed just a possibility currently.

You selected a micro ATX motherboard...Reccommend you use a normal ATX sized mobo like ASUS Strix, MSI Pro Carbon, or ASUS ROG Maximus. You don’t need a small mobo.
Recommend you boost your PSU selection up to the 1000 w or 1200 w models if you are intent on SLI dual RTX 2080 Ti cards overclocked and you are there. Strong build. Prob overkill, as one RTX 2080 Ti is very strong all by itself. Game over...lol.... We here usually don’t recommend an OC on video cards as it doesn’t gain you much vs the wear on the cards, and your video cards are only on air cooling as it is. |

Recommend the MSI board. My preference based on Asus reputation for poor customer service should it ever arise.
Second HockeyBuck's advice on the video overclock. Two of those cards is crazy enough power without stressing them as well. Psyoshi has a point. We have a recent purchaser right now that has a problem with one of his tandem cards. (See Hardware Discussion: "just received-Video Card Not Working") And there is commentary on the 2080 Ti "issue". See what you think. |
