I am looking to build a gaming rig that will be solid for the forseeable future, I didn't put in the lastest or the highest end on anything except the MB and pretty high end graphics card, I'm also wondering if 64bit Vista's problems with software and equipment has been resolved ( as far as they know, lol).
Just looking for some suggestions on what tweaks I might make, the price is a little higher than I want but I would rather pay a little more and stave off upgrading for awhile, I know dropping Office would drop the price but thats not one of my worries.
so let me know what you think

Well Shade I can tell you unless you upgrade to some 64 bit OS you should reduce the memory to 2 gigs... you will lose most if not all over that point anyway with your gx2.
Also you may want to consider a bigger PSU, if you want upgradability and have any plans in the future to go quad SLI with this rig 750 watts is no where near enough. |

with ddr3 i think that 4gb of 1333 is substantial overkill, 2gb of ddr3 would likely be more than enough, and the fsb matching wont matter if youre overclocking the ram and cpu anyway
power may possibly be a problem, something to ask DSO
short of dropping to a 9800gtx i dont see many ways to save any off the top
