Hello Folks, I'm a newb here but have been scouring the forums for months and am deciding to jump in and buy from DS. Here is what I'm looking at buying. I am on the fence right now because i want to see what new cards NVIDIA comes out with for DX-11.
Oh and i'm looking at running a 30 inch monitor. Any thoughts on any good ones out there? I'm looking at the LG: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824005115 Any thoughts or recomendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Just a few questions if I may:
Why go with the base CPU? I thought I'd get more overhead clocking with the 975
Why not get overclocked ram?
I get the solid state HDs but arent there problems with them right now?
I am amazed at the price diff and very much appreciate your thoughts

you are going with stage 1 oc, no matter which you go with you will endup with around 3.7GHz oc, and you won't be able to tell the difference between the 2.
unless you want to push the oc yourself, then that is a different story. classified is a great mobo for oc. you won't notice ram speed or timing difference in games, so ocing the ram is pointless. corsair and vertex are great ssds and I have not heard of any problems. My pleasure
