new rig has just arrived!

well it has been a long while of reading / posting many times on these forums and reading many things online but the day has finally come. today my 2nd digital storm rig has arrived. this, however, will be my very first review.

brief history of me. i bought my first rig from DS back in 2010 after i graduated college. it was a sorta gift to myself. i heard of DS, of all places, on the world of warcraft forums. someone was asking for advice on a good place to buy custom made computers (something i was also interested in). some people said dell, others alienware, some ibuypower, but there was a small bunch recommending digital storm. having never heard of DS, i decided to look into them a bit more. i came across there site and loved everything i read. from their mission statement, to customer reviews, to their no hassles with purchases, to everything made easy for a computer illterate guy like myself.

i didnt write a review for my first rig. not because it was a bad experience or that the rig was bad. in fact the rig is incredible. it is still running like a champ to this day with no issues whatsoever. i just gave it to my stepson and he is so happy. he has been using an old rig from 2005. the reason i didnt write the review was to see if DS system could withstand the test of time. i didnt want to write some review and then, boom, the rig takes a crap 3 months later and i find DS is unhelpful.

as i mentioned above, that was far from the truth. the rig has remained as strong as the first day it came out of the box. so naturally without hestiation, i went to DS for my 2nd and now current system. this baby is great. here are the specs:

DS was very patient with me over the phone as i placed my order and asked a few dozen questions (sorry guys! it's the due diligence in me). im sorry for such a long post, but u folks at DS deserver it and since i cheated u 3 years ago out of a review, i felt i needed to make up for it this time around. please please please, never change. stay the way u are as a customer centric company who puts pride and caring into what u do. i will continue to buy all my systems from DS.
