Pretty solid system. I would of saved a few bucks by doing the overclocking myself. im not a fan of the raptor drives, i might check out the new raptor hard drives coming out fairly soon, but other then that you have a pretty solid build, gonna last you a long time.

it is very nice but a few tweaks you can overclock the video card yourself second i would have one raptor and a second harddrive no raid because of loss of data any way overall its a great build and extremely stable.

yeah I know right. But there's always that risk of killing a component if I do it myself. Whereas if they do it, its covered by the warranty
What's the deal with the new raptors? |

What I'm worried about is the sound card. I've been seeing alot of people posting saying the the x-fi card on 64 bit systems running 4 G of ram messes up and starts screaching. Anyone else heard of this happening?

You know, I thought about crucial. I was looking at some patriots too, but I've never had them and I only trust customer reviews soo far. Whereas I've used corsair or kingston in all my builds, and never had a problem.
This is the first time I'm ever having some else build me a computer. It's almost like a blasphemy, but these guys track record said it all. Nonetheless, I feel more comfortable sticking with a memory I'm familiar with. (especially with some one else building) Thanks for the suggest though. I might just give them a closer look if/when I move up to ddr3 sometime next year. |
