This is more than enough for 1080p gaming. Especially dual monitors.

overkill for 1080p. i would recommend an AMD build for value. something like this: CPU: Ryzen 5 3600X $209 Mobo: MSI B450 Tomahawk Max $125 System Memory: Patriot Viper Steel 16GB $135 Storage: ADATA XPG SX8200 Pro 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME SSD $140 Graphics: PowerColor Radeon RX 5700 XT 8GB Video Card $380 Case: Lian Li Lancool II Mesh ATX Mid Tower Case $80-90 PSU: hard to get these days due to supply issues so selection is bad. this system will draw less than 500W but to be safe i'd recommend an 80-Plus Gold in the 700W range from a trusted brand. also, i believe all AMD procs still come with a boxed air cooler but if you need after market get a good cheap air cooler like the CoolerMaster 212 for 20-30 bucks. unless you plan on serious overclocking than think about custom liquid cooling. most of the AIO liquid coolers have comparable high end air cooling equivalents (i.e. from Noctua) at a similar price point. |
