Budget:
Under $2500 Expectations: I want this rig to last at least 4 years and right now be able to run Rift on max settings. Want to be able to upgrade to faster CPU and newer model GPU when the time arrives. My Alienware just died after 6 years so having to research from cell phone sucks. Usage: MMORPG's RIFT and Wow at max settings, various multitasking such as web browsing, MP3 running at the same time. Special Needs: Need advise on what chipset to go with p67 or x58 or Z68 that will continue to be supported for the next couple of years and I can upgrade as needed. Saved Ticket #: 582331 please comment or suggest on this build. Specifications: noise does not bother me, I would like to use air cooling because liquid scares me to death to work on myself. PS I have called Digital storm 3 times on 2 different days and no one has called me back or offered to help me themselves. I keep reading great things but so far not a great experience. I hope when I do get to speak with someone they will change my mind because I don't want to give my money to Hell comps if you know who I mean lol. |

What is your Monitor Res and will you be running in windowed or fullscreen mode?

What is the res you gonna be gaming at?
big NO to that config, you are not getting most performance for your money in that config. |

My current screen is going to be replaced it is a 17' Samsung Syncmaster that is 5 years old as well. Honestly the resolution I run at is not that important to me and I am willing to adjust to the system. Screen size will never be over 19 inches and I don't care about 3D glasses gaming. Usually run in full windowed mode incase I need to load Mumble or look something up.

The resolution is needed so that I know what to recommend, otherwise I will endup recommending too little or too much (waste of your money).
for 19" I will assume the res is 1600 x 1200. for that res you will never tell the difference between 570 and 580: Here you go Ticket# 583192 --- $2,203 (To see this build click here) Copy of Specifications: Chassis Model: Special Deal Hot Seller - Cooler Master HAF 932 Exterior Finish: - Standard Factory Finish Trim Accents: - Standard Factory Finish Processor: Intel Core i7 2600K 3.40GHz (Unlocked CPU for Extreme Overclocking) (Quad Core) Motherboard: ASUS P8Z68-V PRO (Intel Z68 Chipset) (Features Intel Quick Sync Technology) System Memory: 8GB DDR3 1600MHz Digital Storm Certified Performance Series (Highly Recommended) (Hand Tested) Power Supply: 750W Corsair HX (Dual SLI Compatible) Expansion Bay: - No Thanks Hard Drive Set 1: Operating System: 1x (120GB Solid State (By: Intel) (Model: 320 Series) Set 1 Raid Options: - No Thanks Hard Drive Set 2: Multimedia\Data: 1x (1TB Western Digital Caviar (7200 RPM) (64MB Cache) (Model: Black Edition) Hard Drive Set 3: Backup\Misc.: - No Thanks Optical Drive 1: DVD-R/RW/CD-R/RW (DVD Writer 24x / CD-Writer 48x) Optical Drive 2: - No Thanks Internet Access: High Speed Network Port (Supports High-Speed Cable / DSL / Network Connections) Video Card: 1x NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570 1.2GB (Includes PhysX Technology) Add-on Card: - No Thanks Sound Card: Integrated Motherboard Audio Extreme Cooling: AIR: Stage 2: Corsair A70 Dual 120mm Fans High Performance Cooler H20 Tube Color:- Not Applicable, I do not have a FrostChill or Sub-Zero LCS Cooling System Selected Chassis Airflow: Standard Factory Chassis Fans Internal Lighting: - No Thanks Enhancements: - No Thanks Chassis Mods: - No Thanks Noise Reduction: - No Thanks Boost Processor: Stage 2: Overclock CPU 4.5GHz to 4.8GHz (Requires Pro or Deluxe Series Motherboard) Boost Video Card: - No Thanks, Please do not overclock my video card(s) Boost Memory: - No Thanks, Please do not overclock my memory Boost OS: - No Thanks, Please do not tweak the services on the operating system Windows OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium (64-Bit Edition) Recovery Tools: Windows Recovery Toolkit (Bundled with Windows 7 CD) Virus Protection: - No Thanks Office: - No Thanks Benchmarking: - No Thanks Install/Test Game: - No Thanks Display: - No Thanks Surge Shield: - No Thanks Speakers: - No Thanks Keyboard: - No Thanks Mouse: - No Thanks External Storage: - No Thanks Exclusive T-Shirt: - No Thanks Priority Build: - No Thanks, Ship Within 5-15 Business Days After Order Is Successfully Processed Warranty: Life-time Expert Customer Care with 3 Year Limited Warranty also checkout ode 1 |
