Hey-

So I am in the market for a new TV and I saw that samsung put out a new series of LED televisions.  I was thinking of buying either the 6000 series or the 8000 series.  The 7000 series seems to be the same as the 6000 series, but with some extras that I don't really need (ie they don't effect the sound or picture).  The 8000 series offers high refresh rate (if 240 herts is even noticably different than 120) and a high contrast, 5,000,000/1 compared to 3,000,000/1.

Which would you buy?  Any suggestions?

Any input would be appreciated!

I just bought a 73 inch DLP TV from Mitsubishi and it kicks ass. Blu Rays for the win!

I move a lot- at least once a year, sometimes more.  A DLP would be nice, but moving that thing, well, I imagine they are quite heavy.  Based all all the information I could find (and not being a huge fan of plasma- my brother in law has a panasonic that is good, but nothing amazing)- I decided to go with the Samsung LED LCD 46'' 8000 series.  I've always thought Samsung made great monitors, but i've never had the chance to own one.  Here we go...

mitsubishi makes t.v's lawl aint this a small world. By the way i think Dynex and Panasonic got the best deals rating. regardless i think sonys tv's have a 25,000-1 contrast rating and i believe human eyes cant watch anything past 14,000 talk anout overkill
