Hi jackbutler68..... Welcome to the forums.
That is a real nice rig. Congrats on joining the club. Couple of things.... You definitely don't need 32gb ram for gaming. 16GB would do it. If you plan on staying with a single 980 ti and not going sli then a EVGA 750watt or 850 watt is plenty. The 550D Slade is picked normally for its clean looks and quiet. If you use the 240mm rad cooler, it is mounted under the top and the top acoustic panel needs to stay off for the fans to exit the heat. Some of the sound deadening is gone but still quieter than most. Not a big deal but just an FIY that some don't realize. I'm assuming you're not 4K monitor gaming. The single 980ti will play great on a 1080p/1440p monitor. It'll do 4K but not without settings being tweaked down. If you just ordered and want to make changes, do it before it goes too far along to avoid extra charges. Looks good and good luck. |

Thank you for the suggestions. I went with the bigger PS so I would have the option of adding another 980ti down the road.
As far as the RAM goes I always go by the motto you can never have enough RAM...lol. Again I would rather go ahead and add it now and have the modules tested by Digital Storm rather than add it down the road and have issues with it. Thank you again for your advice. My pleasure. Let us know what you think after it arrives and you find time in between games.
