We have been developing a new 'Stability Toolkit' for our valued customers.

This is for customers that may be having issues with their system, and to see if this is a hardware (the computer) or a software issue (Windows, games, drivers), etc...

Basically it automates the entire testing process which stresses the (motherboard, cpu, memory, video card(s), cpu overclocks, video card overclocks, and general overheating issues).

If your system fails the test, if if you would like to anyways, you can submit your test data to our servers and a Digital Storm technician will review all of the test data and contact you directly.

Right now, we would like to do a public beta test, please download it, install it and give it a try:

By golly, love the idea/ability to "auto" test...and send data on possible hardware problems to you.  Have downloaded it...and was tempted to run it...even though I don't have any problems at the time...but, noticed the 8-9 hr "test" for 6GB was more time than I can put in at the moment--other pressing needs.  Just want to say THANKS for the program--hope I never need it--and if I do it will be greatly appreciated  Heart

I do have a question. Should all programs be closed, i.e. curse gaming, email, downloads etc.etc. before running this test or does it even matter?

Thanks :)

Will this also tell the user about any issues? If so, this would be a great stress-testing app for me.

This is designed to be used to pin-point stability issues with the actual hardware/setup of the computer. If it passes, there aren't any issues with the hardware but the actual operating system, software, game(s), or drivers.

[This is under the assumption that you are having stability issues].

I am not, but I was wondering if I could run it to check for long-term stability. As in, if there is indeed an issue, will it tell me?

If I'm reading into this correctly it will. Eh, maybe I'll give it a go tomorrow anyways.

You sure can, but, if you aren't having any issues, it may give you a false positive.

It's best to use this if you are really having issues with your unit, but, you could still run it for fun anyways.
