So Monday night I finally took the big plunge and ordered my very first DS computer. I ordered the Vanquish 2 level 4 and I haven't been this nervous and excited in a long time. I feel like a kid at Christmas time. I hear nothing but amazing things about DS and that's why I decided to go with the vanquish 2 level 4 for my very first gaming computer. It's stuck at stage 6 right now, but I expect it to ship out sometime next week if all goes well with the QA. I'm really excited. I'm a World of Warcraft player whose always played on really crappy computers for the last 6 years, all on the lowest settings. This is a massive upgrade for me to say the least. Oh and just in time for Warlords of Draenor in November. ;)

I'll keep everyone updated and post pictures and a review as soon as I get it. For now I play the waiting game. :)

Thank you! JUST as I posted this I got an email indicating that it passed the QA and is onto stage 7. I'm doing a little happy dance right now. Haha.

Suuwweeeeeett!  Welcome to the DS family and forums.  You're gonna LOVE that rig on WoW.  Remember when you first fire it up optimized to breathe. 
 
Ordered Monday night, payment processed on Tuesday, and if all the delivery guys get green lights, you'll be playing by this Wednesday or Thursday....  That's a guess.

Thanks Snaike! It may take a little longer since I live in Maine. BUT I have been keeping myself very busy. In fact I just adopted a young border collie from a shelter yesterday and he keeps me nice and distracted. He's a riot. :) I've been researching for a looonng time for a new dog and new computer and soon I'll finally have both. I'm one happy lady right about now. Haha. I know the pup has nothing to do with DS, but hey. It's general discussions afterall.. lol

How very very cool. A border collie and a new gaming rig... the gaming rig will keep your gamer skills up and the border collie will keep your endurance up! Great dogs, very loyal and just as smart as anything.

You have my envy... Grats on both!

Oh yeah he's got me and my boyfriend out running and walking with him everyday. It's awesome. My computer should be here on Monday the 15th. That's the estimated arrival date on the UPS website. It would be awesome if they got it here Friday, but I don't mind a Monday arrival. It will be worth the wait that's for sure. Thanks again Snaike. These forums are great and you all are so awesone. :)

Haha grats man, Mine just hit Stage 7(QA Passed!) and should ship tomorrow or tonight, I too was hoping for it to come on Friday but, I doubt it, I probably won't have mine until like Tuesday :/ Buts that's fine!

The good thing about the Vanquish Level 4 is that it will play Wow very well and you will enjoy that expansion launch much better with a nice new system.
