Case: Digital Storm 750Si
PSU: 550W Corsair HX (Dual SLI Compatible) Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3.00GHz Motherboard: Asus Maximus Formula (Intel X38) Memory: 4GB DDR2 Corsair at 667MHz Floppy Card: Sony 1.44MB Hard Drive: 500GB Western Digital (16MB Cache)(7200 RPM)(SATA) Connectivity: Linksys Wireless-N 300Mbps Graphics Card: nVidia GeForce 8800GT 512MB Sound Card: Motherboard Multi-Channel HD Audio Cooling: Air Cooled Stage 1 Lighting: Blizzard Internal Lighting (White Edition) Cabling: Enhanced Interior Air Flow (Red Cables) - I did not select for over-clocking. Do I need it? OS: Vista Ultimate (64-Bit Edition) Everything else I've left the same. Anyways, will this all work together? Will it all fit in the case? And will this give me a good gaming experience? Should I be able to play the current top games at a high quality level? Thanks for the information. |

This will work, but you might consider going with a different case. Otherwise you'll run into over heating problems. I recommend going to the 650si case for $13 less. I would also go with a different memory setup. Even though you have the 64 bit OS to use more RAM, it won't increase your performance over going with faster RAM. I recommend upgrading to just two gigs of the 800Mhz XMS2 for now. You can always get more RAM later, and you'll get more performance out of the faster RAM right now. Everything will definitely fit though and you will be able to play the high end games.

I'd ditch the airflow cables. 22 bucks for 1 cord? I think that money would be better used towards stage 2 cooling. |
