We wanted to provide more of a gaming feel to our website so we added a gaming graphic update to our home page and our desktops page.

I like the background picture on the Gaming Desktops page, I love me some Depth of Field and panoramic views. I don't care for the one on the Home page, I can't see what is happening and it is devoid of color.

Random things of note:
  1. The Gaming Desktops page is missing a Home navigation button.
  2. Most of the pages are missing the Load Ticket navigation button. I have to navigate to the Home page, then the Gaming Desktops page, then finally to either the Black O.P.S. or Special Deals page before a Load Ticket link pops up anywhere.
  3. It just occurred to me that the site does not scale with higher resolutions very well. At 1900x1200 it only takes up the left half of the screen with a huge blank void on the right. At 1680x1050 (roughly the size I keep my browser) it doesn't even take up 2/3rds of the window. Have you tried having the site center itself like the forums do? Might look really nice.
  4. Border shadows might look good too, to give the primary area a nice jutting 3D look (like this).

I think the color splashes in the backround make the website more attractive in general.

I do want to add that we are fixing a number of these things with the new layout we're working on.

While talking about the site, has anyone noticed that when you go type in a wrong link, it goes to an older version of the site to give you the file not found error? I do find it interesting that you can configure old systems :P

Yeah I see that old site pop up every now and then with 404 error redirecting from bad forum url links, it is very amusing.
