We just updated our gaming desktops page (http://www.digitalstormonline.com/gamingcomputers.asp). New configurations, new, better special deals. What do you all think? |

Nice. I'm not sure why anyone would buy the clearance models with the price being so close to the lower level new stuff. I mean its 40 dollars difference.

Awesome stuff as usual Alex.
How are you guys finding the Asetek LCLC working out for you guys as far as cooling performance when you're overclocking your I7 chips. I know a lot of people have been raising that question over the last month or so. |

That last one's a steal. Almost literally.

The Asetek LCLC has been great. From our experience, performs better than all the air cooling setups, and below our Stage 3 FrostBite.

Thanks Alex. Great food for thought going forward for people if they can't afford frostbite but want a liquid cooling option. The Asetek LCLC is rated for 50000 hours of maintenance free cooling if I remember correctly. That's not a bad little cooling option if it's giving better results than air cooling for the same cost.

Loving that last one. Really makes me wish I had waited a week. Could have saved myself a few hundred bucks. |

50000 hours is 5.7 years. How long do you need your cooling solution to last DST4ME?

Wow...the last one is close to what DST4ME selected for me...and it's way cheaper now...it appears the powersupply will have to be adjusted in the future...but how upgradeable is this one? it already has SLI so other than ps anything else?? |

Looks very nice indeed! Quick query; for the enthusiast pages, the EVGA x58M is the EVGA x58 SLI? Or LE? Or a totally different board?

I believe it is the micro version of the x58, in which case with an SLI setup I believe I've read that you will not have access to either the pcie x1 or the pci slot. Edited by sdelu - 13 Aug 2009 at 7:21pm |

The airflow on the first special deals is quite adequate for those specs.

Can you upgrade on the last option? add HD or Blueray? What type of MOBO is it? Will ocing to this degree greatly degrade the life of the cpu? Finally, are these ready to be shipped now?
