New X58 from ASRock

Saw this the other day and was kinda WOW'd by it.  4 GPU slots (2 x 8, 2 x 16), which is nice for tri-sli with a sound card.  The price is not bad either.  Not alot of reviews, but all are stellar!  I have a friend who was always budget minded, and has built many a computer with this brand, and swears by it.
 
Are they actually made by someone else, or are they their own company?  I personally like EVGA, and don't like ASUS at all.  Just me I guess.  Would this be worth looking into?  Or should I stay the course with my plans on the EVGA.  Also, since DS is THE only place to get a super quality comp these days, I usually would stick with their suggested mobo's, as Im sure they use what they feel is the best possible platform to use

I would stick with EVGA but I don't know much about that company.
