New to Digital storm, heard about it from a friend that is planning to buy a laptop from Digital storm. So thought i check it out and am itching for one of those gaming laptops. I wanted to know if it is possible to do monthly payments since am a college student and can't afford to pay everything at once.

I asked the same question when I decided I wanted one as well, they said they do not do monthly payments, and are currentlly not large enough to offer financing...I ended up saving for 6 months to get my money...

If your okay with paying some interest just throw it on a credit card and pay it off over a few months. Would help you build some credit.

I've never understood the term "Gaming Laptop", unless you're traveling or what not, why not just go with a desktop?

why the heck do you need a gaming lappy for that....lol a regular high end mainstream laptop should do that. If you really want a DS build, get a XM15.

Heck, I'd just wait for one of Acer's SB laptops to come out under their TimelineX name. Some of Acer's builds are pretty good values sometimes, found one before with an i5-460M, 4GB of RAM, 64-bit Win 7 Home, 500GB 5400rpm hard drive, and a Mobility Radeon 5650 to boot. was a 14" frame, but that's still a great deal to me.

Itd be worth saving anyway. My wifes laptop is on back order, after seeing my rig and witnessing the customer service, she refused to let me get her a comp anywhere else.

save up and you will find ways to cut costs on your rig (when I just read into gaming pcs I wanted a $5,000 rig but I have since brought it down to $1,100) plus you will have motivation to make the money. and you will find ways to keep yourself buisy like going on these forums 24/7 lol and time will pass and u will have your rig/laptop before you know it! I've been waiting since august and its not insanely terrible because I know once I have it it will all be worth it.
