Anyone have any experience with Nexus PC cases? Are they good?
I was considering having DSO build my Spring machine in a "Clodius" - I like the built-in temp indicator dial/power button, and their attention to noise and airlflow.

In the various reviews I've seen about nexus cases, including the clodius, there seems to be a lack of good airflow. I'm not sure if it's just the reviewers using hot running components or if airflow isn't strong enough. If you're looking for a quiet case with good airflow, the hands-down winner seems to be antec's p182. They have a p183 in the works and that's just the evolution of aforementioned case.

I still haven't heard. How do you like your Xonar card? Is it the D2X?

Bah! It uses a Burr-Brown DAC! That stomps the Cirrus-Logic DAC that even the second best use for PCs. Can't go wrong with Burr-Brown for sheer musicality! Cirrus-Logic might sound more lively, but burr brown are warmer and more human-like in vocal tones. If you're not impressed, might I suggest some Q-tips? LOL! LOL

P.S. I believe your onboard sound uses a Realtek chip... Confused

Just give Alex a day and he'll delete it.  There's a few more on other threads too.
