MS is really trying to sell me to get W10. I love my W7 Ultimate and sorry won't update to 10 on the "Cube". The rest of our computers are on 10.
And now back to your favorite program. |

Bummer. Can't see what it would hurt to do the free upgrade (CNET says it still works) as I did many moons ago, but we all have our peeves with Op Systems. As you will lose the Windows Security Updates and bug fixes, you will just have to be extremely careful what all you do on the beautiful Win 7 cube rig.
Someday, all of us on the forum will look forward to your next big impressive DS Custom gamers rig ma'am! Maybe you might ship it back to DS and use the unique cube again in a brand new refreshed hardware build? I'm imagining that big cube with all new Corsair LL RGB fans and a new gaming heartbeat...lol. |

Hi oldladyRPGer,
I am with you. I will only game with my Av II and W7U. My other systems all have W10Pro. And look at all the issues that come with the obligatory downloads. Game on. |

Windows 7 has no real value anymore. Windows 10 is by far the best Microsoft has ever made, and it's the future.

I'm finding more and more that getting older does that to a person. This is my 2¢... |

Can't say I agree with this. Windows 3.1 (and earlier) still has value to certain groups. Maybe you mean to say it has no real average-home-user market value? That said, I also don't expect Microsoft to continue to support dated products. In the unfortunate world of 90 day warranties I'm thankful MS props Windows iterations up as long as they do. For what it's worth I'm happy with 10, but there are very valid reasons not to be.

I must say though, after coming through all the previous iterations of the Windows Op System, Win 10 has been the best and easiest of them all to learn and to use.
