I know a lot of people are refusing to upgrade to Vista.  At least for now.  Some say they will wait until all the kinks are out; other's seem to be withholding out of principle, as Microsoft tries to force us to upgrade to yet another money making OS.

I too had concerns with upgrading, but I went ahead and did it.  The 32 bit version.  And you know what?  It's been almost 2 months and I haven't had any problems.  I do a wide range of activity on the PC - gaming, music, graphic arts, web hosting, surfing the internet for p ... for pictures, etc.  It's worked like a charm.  Attractive and stable.  Of coarse, it's only been a couple of months, but so far so good.  I was prepared for the worst, but maybe it's more stable than some believe.

It isn't very different from XP honestly, and it seems that having issues with it is hit or miss.

dangit, I went and bought that lachesis mouse.  I have the copperhead, but when I seen that lachesis sitting right there, I was like "oh man, what a nice looking mousie"   Now I hear that Vista doesn't like that mouse :(

dog, it was really not that big a deal with me though... the lechisis is ULTRA smooth.. but it isnt shaped like the copperhead...its shaped like the diamondback... which for a "claw" gamer (I dont rest my palm on the mouse) isnt good.

I am back to using my copperhead all the time now... and happy about it even :)
