I bought a digital storm lynx 699 pc a while ago and was happy with the product but I was told by my friends to get a better graphics card since it did not have one. I bought and installed a GeForce gtx 1650 super and upgraded the ram to 16gb. The problem that I have is that when I put these upgrades in my monitor will always show “no signal” when I boot up my pc. The pc seems to be working since all the fans work, even in the graphics card so I was wondering what was going wrong. I also plugged the hdmi cord into the motherboard with the integrated graphics and the monitor still said no signal. I am hoping someone can solve my problem since I am new to PCs.

Make certain that you're plugged into the new card and not the old mobo video slot. This is the most common reason that monitors have no signal when installing a discreet card for the first time.

If you are certain that you're plugged into the new card, make certain the new GPU is inserted all the into the mobo.

More than likely what Snaike posted is the problem. Otherwise go to the Device Manager>Display adapters and see if it shows up. Right click on the card or make sure it is seated correctly if it doesn't show up.
Good luck. Smile
