No sound after i plugged in my Astro A50 mix amp

I was playing my audio thru my Corsair 2500 2.1 speaker system via the headphone jack on the back of my Creative Labs sound card. As soon as I plugged in my Astro A50 wireless mix amp via USB port, my PC immediately picked up the mix amp, made it my default playback device. this is cool and all, but now I cannot get my Corsair system to playback. The system is on, but my PC will not pick it up. I have also tried plugging the corsair system into the line out of my PC.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I should add that i have the mix amp hooked up via toslink cable for digital sound.
